Our CrossFit Kids and Teens program, led by our dedicated Head Coach Shelby Hamilton, provides a fun, safe, and effective way for your children to develop a lifelong love of fitness. We offer age-appropriate classes designed to foster physical and mental well-being, all within a supportive and encouraging community.

What is CrossFit Kids and Teens?

CrossFit Kids and Teens is a specialized program that adapts the core principles of CrossFit for younger athletes. It's not just about lifting weights; it's about developing essential movement skills, building confidence, and promoting a healthy lifestyle. We focus on functional movements – the kind of movements kids use every day, like running, jumping, throwing, and lifting – and teach them how to perform these movements safely and effectively.

 

Unlike traditional sports programs that may focus on a single skill, CrossFit Kids and Teens provides a well-rounded approach to fitness. Our classes incorporate a variety of exercises that build strength, endurance, flexibility, and coordination. We make fitness fun and engaging, ensuring that kids are motivated to participate and enjoy the process.

Program Details:

  • Age-Appropriate Classes:

    • We offer separate classes for different age groups (5-7, 8-11, 12-15) to ensure that exercises are tailored to their developmental stages.

    • This allows us to teach correct form, and also keep the classes engaging for each age group.

  • 12-Week Semesters:

    • Our program runs in 12-week semesters, providing a structured and progressive learning experience.

    • This allows kids to build upon their skills and track their progress over time.

  • 45-Minute Classes:

    • Each class is 45 minutes long, designed to keep kids engaged and focused.

  • Expert Coaching:

    • Our classes are led by our experienced Head Coach, Shelby Hamilton, who is passionate about working with kids and teens.

    • Shelby is dedicated to creating a positive and supportive learning environment.

  • Focus on Fun:

    • We believe that fitness should be fun! Our classes incorporate games and activities that keep kids motivated and excited to participate.
