What to Expect in a Pure Grit Class:

Warm Welcome: From the moment you step in, you'll be greeted by our friendly community and supportive coaches. We believe in creating a welcoming environment where everyone feels comfortable and motivated.

Dynamic Warm-Ups: Every class begins with a general warm-up, carefully designed to prepare your body for the day's specific workout. These warm-ups focus on mobility, flexibility, and getting your heart rate up, reducing the risk of injury and maximizing performance.

Specific Warm-Ups (Occasionally): Depending on the day's programming, we may also include specific warm-ups to refine particular movements or prepare you for the workout ahead.

Strength and Skill Development: We dedicate a portion of each class to building strength and refining skills. This could involve Olympic lifting, powerlifting, or working with unconventional strength implements. We also incorporate gymnastics movements to enhance strength and movement patterns. Our programming is structured with progressive overload in mind, allowing you to consistently improve over time. Coaches will provide scaling options to ensure everyone can participate safely and effectively.

Workout of the Day (WOD): The heart of every CrossFit class is the WOD, which is always varied and challenging. You might encounter familiar "benchmark" workouts like "DT" or "Fran," or experience new and exciting combinations of movements. Our workouts come in various formats, including:

AMRAP (As Many Rounds As Possible): Complete as many rounds of the given exercises as you can within a set time.

EMOM (Every Minute On the Minute): Perform a set number of repetitions at the start of each minute, using the remaining time to rest.

For Time: Complete the given exercises as quickly as possible.

Interval Style: Periods of work followed by periods of rest.
